1 Accused of Drunk Driving after Car Gets Stuck on Train Tracks

Wisconsin police recently arrested an individual after allegedly receiving a report of suspicious activity just after 2 a.m. on a recent Tuesday. Countless individuals have been accused of a crime around the early hours of the morning, in which many view as a common time for criminal activity. The man in this scenario is now facing accusations for drunk driving.

After receiving the call, police claim that upon responding they found a vehicle that was apparently stuck on local train tracks. The driver of the vehicle, who was reportedly wearing a white shirt at the time, had allegedly left it on the tracks and fled the scene. Authorities assert that they were able to tow the vehicle before a train was scheduled to pass through the area.

Shortly under an hour later, police say they located the man who was allegedly responsible for leaving the vehicle on the tracks. He was subsequently accused of intoxicated driving and was taken into custody shortly thereafter. It is unclear if police actually saw the man flee the vehicle, or how they came to believe that he was intoxicated at the time of the alleged incident.

Individuals who face criminal charges often find the process challenging to navigate, prompting a need to seek guidance in the early stages. Those accused of drunk driving in Wisconsin often speak with an experienced attorney for assistance throughout this stressful and intimidating period. A defense attorney can examine the charges against the accused individual and assist him or her in making informed decisions throughout the subsequent process.
